Golf Operations & Sales Support Coordinator (Full-Time Preferred; Part-Time Considered)

Role Overview

Dooks Golf Club is seeking a Golf Operations & Sales Support Coordinator (Full-Time Preferred; Part-Time Considered) to join our front-of-house golf operations team. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a welcoming, outgoing, and friendly manner, a strong background in customer service, and a genuine passion for golf.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing reservations and enhancing the overall golfer experience, while also supporting golf operations, retail, merchandising, and sales activities as required. This is a varied, customer-facing role that requires professionalism, flexibility and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Reservations & Guest Services

  • Manage tee time reservations efficiently, both in person and over the phone, ensuring a professional and courteous approach at all times
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service to members and guests
  • Respond to enquiries and provide accurate information relating to bookings, products, and services
  • Support the smooth daily operation of the reservations system
  • Report to Sales Manager

Golf Operations

  • Retail, Merchandising & Sales
  • Act as a retail assistant in the professional shop
  • Support merchandising standards, point-of-sale operations, and product presentation
  • Promote retail offerings and assist with sales in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
  • Maintain a tidy, professional, and well-organised working environment

Health, Safety & Administration

  • Complete incident reports in the event of injury, accidents, property damage, or other issues
  • Comply with all club policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements

General

  • Carry out additional duties as required or directed by club management

Candidate Requirements

  • Knowledge of golf is preferred
  • Previous experience in reservations and/or sales is required
  • Proven customer service experience with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confident, professional telephone manner
  • Previous retail experience is beneficial
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional in approach
