Welcome to all our visiting golfers. We are honoured to be Captains in Dooks this year and extend a Cead Mile Failte to the many golfers who will play on our picturesque and recently upgraded and testing links. You will find an interesting layout with many challenging holes. We want you to enjoy, relax and feel at home in our club and most of all enjoy your golf and your time here in Dooks.

We hope you all enjoy your stay in the area and that you play good golf and of course we hope the weather is kind to you all.

Visitors Times.

Caddies.

Subject to availability, to avoid disappointment it is advisable that you reserve a Caddy at the time of booking.

Caddies should be paid in cash at the end of each round of golf.

There is a limited number of buggies available for hire, again if this is a priority, they should be reserved in advance.

Battery Caddy Cars - Limited number available.

Slow Play

Players are asked to show courtesy for fellow players by avoiding slow play.A Course Ranger is on duty to monitor the pace of play, please respect their instructions.

Arrrival.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to tee off times. On arrival visitors should report to the Pro shop to sign in, our staff will confirm your start times, issue you with your visitors badge and will assist you with any queries you may have. A valid handicap certificate must be produced when signing in.

Booking Conditions.

• A non refundable deposit of 25% is required at time of booking.
• Bookings without deposit can only be held for 7 working days.
• Credit Cards, Bankers Draft or Cheques are accepted for payment.
• Bookings will be confirmed by email by Dooks Golf Club on receipt of the deposit.
• Prior notice is required if using any discount/special offer schemes.
• All outstanding balances must be paid 7 days prior to the commencement of play.
• There will be no refund for "No Shows".
• The Club may accept reductions to the numbers booked with 2 weeks prior notice.
• All visitors to Dooks Golf Club must obey Club Rules/Guidelines at all times.

Enviroment/Care of our Links.

Links Courses are fragile and our Head Green Keeper Miceal Shanahan and his staff take great care in preparing our links for your enjoyment.

We appreciate your co-operation in helping us to maintain our standards by replacing divots, repairing pitch marks, and raking bunkers properly and please leave the rake in the centre of the Bunker..

Dress.

Smart Dress is essential both on the golf course and in the clubhouse. We ask both our members and visitors to adhere to course etiquette and show due consideration to fellow golfers at all times.

The following items if dress are unacceptable at all times.

Denims, tracksuits, vest type tee shirts are not acceptable (collared tee shirts are acceptable).
Football Jerseys, Tracksuit tops or leggings,
Shirts displaying logos
Shirts must be tucked inside trousers and trousers legs must not be tucked inside socks.
